Acceptance of Terms

By using eatoak.com, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree with any part of these terms, please don’t use our site. We know legal stuff is boring, but these terms protect both of us and help us keep providing free recipes and cooking content.

Use of Our Content

What You Can Do:

  • Use our recipes for personal, family, and non-commercial cooking
  • Share links to our recipes on social media (we love this!)
  • Print recipes for your personal recipe collection
  • Modify recipes for your family’s needs and dietary restrictions

What You Can’t Do:

  • Copy and paste entire recipes onto your own blog or website without permission
  • Use our photos without credit and a link back to the original recipe
  • Sell or republish our content commercially
  • Remove our name or attribution from recipes when sharing

Fair Use: We’re totally fine with you sharing a recipe or two with friends, crediting us in your food blog posts, or using our content for educational purposes. Just don’t copy our entire site!

User Contributions

Comments and Emails: When you comment on our blog or email us, you’re giving us permission to use your feedback to improve our recipes and potentially share your success stories (we’ll always ask first for anything beyond basic recipe feedback).

Recipe Photos: If you share photos of our recipes on social media and tag us, we might share them on our accounts (with credit to you, of course). If you’d prefer we don’t, just let us know!

Recipe Modifications: We love when you improve our recipes! If you share a modification that makes a recipe significantly better, we might incorporate it into the official recipe (with credit to you) so everyone can benefit.

Intellectual Property

All content on eatoak.com – including recipes, photos, blog posts, and design elements – is owned by Eat Oak or licensed to us. Our logo and “Eat Oak” name are our trademarks.

We respect other people’s intellectual property too. If you believe we’ve used your content without permission, please contact us at Contact@eatoak.com and we’ll address it promptly.
